Prayer Requests

Prayer is communion with God by thought and by deeds, with words and without. It is an important way we endeavor to know God and to hear him speak and guide us in our lives.

At the Church of the Good Shepherd, we believe in the transformative power of prayer. We know there are times when individuals will need someone to pray with or for them. We are committed to praying with you and for you during your time of need. As we gather in agreement for God’s loving and powerful hand to move, God is faithful to be present and respond to our prayers.

Who are the Daughters of the King?
The Daughters of the King is an international lay order for Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran and Roman Catholic women who are vowed to prayer, service, and evangelism in their daily lives. The Church of the Good Shepherd has an active chapter which meets regularly to pray and study together. The Daughters of the King pray for our parish, for individuals based on submitted prayer requests and for the wider community and world.
