Chapel Times and Descriptions

St. James Preschool Chapel
Age-appropriate Bible stories, lessons, and songs are the focus of the St. James Preschool Chapel services.

St. James Lower School Chapel
At the St. James Lower School Chapel services, we share a story from scripture, sing songs, and pray about our hopes and concerns.

St. James Middle School Chapel
Each Wednesday morning, the St. James Middle School students start their day praising God through song and prayer. In a modified Morning Prayer service, a dedicated group of students serves as worship leaders, introducing the prayers and proclaiming the Word. A short homily is given, relevant to the students and their daily communal life.

St. James All School Chapel 
Every Thursday morning the Lower and Middle School students gather for Morning Prayer. Middle School students help lead the service from acolyting to intercessory prayer. There is always an encouraging and enlightening homily given by the Clergy, the Youth Minister or the St. James Headmaster.
