Youth School Year Programs

During the school year, we have a host of programs specifically tailored to the spiritual needs of middle and high school students. This is where we try to live out our commitment to the Apostle’s teaching and fellowship, the breaking of bread and the prayers; this is where we proclaim the good news of God in Christ. We wish to learn about the Kingdom of God, and how we are each called to participate in Christ’s reign.

Youth Group

Youth School 7th-12th

Youth Group for 6th-12th Grades
at the Youth House

Youth Group meets on Sunday evenings at the Youth House. (There will be other gatherings at other locations throughout the year, so be on the look-out for those.) Middle School (6th - 8th grades) will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth House. Then High School (9th- 12th grades) will join them for dinner at 7:30 p.m. Following dinner, Middle School’s time will be complete and High School will stay for their special Youth Group time. We ask congregation members and groups to help minister to our Youth by providing the weekly meal that they will share.

Typical Sunday Evenings in the Youth House:

  • Middle School Youth Group (6th - 8th) 6:30 - 7:30 p.m.
  • High School Youth Group 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Sometimes our schedule varies.  We will give outreach opportunities, as well as participate in activities off campus.

Student Leadership Team

This dedicated group of High School students serves as relational ministers to our Middle School students. They meet twice a month on Sundays to study about Godly leadership and plan Middle School Youth. They then practice these leadership skills by facilitating games and giving talks. Taking the words of St. Paul to heart, these student leaders “set for the believers an example in speech and conduct, in love, in faith, in purity.”

Walk the way of the cross with us as we journey together through Jesus’ last days on Earth. The Youth always contribute a reflective service to this week, come help us make this year’s a special one.

Youth Sunday
This worship service is led by our youth as we recognize our acolytes and graduating seniors. This service is traditionally the first Sunday in May.
