The beatitudes reveal to us qualities that bring God’s blessing. Jesus highlighted these to offer both encouragement and instruction to his followers in a world with values much different than God’s. Using John Stott’s book, The Beatitudes: Developing Spiritual Character, we will study these qualities and integrate them into our lives so we can receive the blessing Jesus promised to his followers then and now.
