“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
As we grow in our faith in God through Jesus Christ, our lives are changed and enriched. Through our transformed lives, we seek to share Christ’s love, by our witness and service to all His beloved children, through the power of the Holy Spirit.
“Come, let us bow down in
worship, let us kneel before the
Lord our Maker"
Our worship is shaped by the beautiful liturgy of the Book of Common Prayer, thought provoking, biblically based messages and inspirational music. Every element of our time in worship is designed to draw us closer to the heart of God.
“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever!”
-2 Peter 3:18
All Christians are active members in preaching, teaching and living out the Gospel. As the Apostle Peter called us, we are “a priesthood”. We not only have access to God through Christ, but we get to be partners with him in his Kingdom.
“Just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.”
We are a welcoming community of all ages, races, and backgrounds. The Church of the Good Shepherd is a congregation that strongly believes God’s love is experienced through fellowship and being family to each other, then sharing that love with the surrounding world.
“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.”
Giving to God is an act that affirms He is the source of all we have in our lives. Everything we are and have is a gift from Him and it brings us to a place of wanting to give back.
